ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
- Certified Athletic Administrator through the NIAAA.
- Employed 79 coaches across three athletic seasons for the 2024-2025 school year. I am proud to say that 45 of those hires (just under 57% overall) were women, some of whom coached boys’ teams.
In contrast, the national average of women heading boys AND girls youth teams is under 26% (Aspen Institute’s Project Play, 2023).

PROJECTS:
DEPARTMENT-WIDE INITIATIVES
- Took over the development and maintenance of our SPA Athletics Hub. Since then, I have added various elements to the hub, including additional pages of information for fans, coaches, opposing schools, and prospective and current student-athletes/families. Additionally, I have created pages for award archives, college recruiting information, and more.
- Report and develop stories/news updates about our student-athletes, team accomplishments, etc. Below are examples from articles I have written.

- Athletic Camp & Club Sports Coordinator: Arrange camp registration, manage equipment and facilities, lead promotional efforts, track revenue, and coach payments.

- Designed opportunities to further the visibility of our student-athletes and the leaders amongst our teams. One of these initiatives includes team media days and signage to highlight our team leaders across each sports season.
MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETICS:
- Created policies and procedures for the MS program and a handbook for families to reference: Middle School Athletics Handbook
- Designed a banquet model for all MS teams to be celebrated upon the conclusion of each season (fall, winter, spring) with all student-athletes and their families, including a Celebration Guide for Families and a Guide for Coaches.
- Created a process for MS student-athletes to tryout for Upper School teams, including a Petition to Tryout Document.
- Implemented a Student-Athlete Leaders (SAL) special interest group for leadership development opportunities for MS student-athletes.
- Developed the current, 6th and 7th Grade Physical Education Curriculum
LOWER SCHOOL ATHLETICS:
- Implemented the sports clinic model for the SPA Lower School athletic program, including 7 sports offerings across three seasons for students in grades 3-5 as seen on our website HERE.
- Created policies and procedures for the LS program and a handbook for families to reference: Lower School Athletics Handbook.
- Added athletic opportunities for students in 3rd and 4th grade (2022-Present)
- Oversees opportunities for K-2 students to experience what it's like to be a part of SPA athletics, including the implementation of SPA's Junior Spartan Program. This program recognize K-2 students at Varsity games, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, and hockey.
